The texts in the “Advanced Library” section are for older children whose reading skills are really ‘advanced’. They can also be thought of as “Ziptales Level 4” texts. While the raw readability of these texts varies, according to how much dialogue is involved, all the texts included are long and highly challenging. Concepts are more sophisticated and assumptions are made about the students’ ability to draw inferences and engage in more abstract thinking. Ideal for children needing ‘extension’ (including material that would sit comfortably in post-primary years).
